What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor 4-E5 - Seasonal - Pontiac Lake Recreation Area position at State of Michigan?
This position’s purpose is to provide a clean, healthy and safe environment for Pontiac Lake Recreation Area’s visitors by cleaning and maintaining the park’s restrooms, vault toilets and buildings. In addition to cleaning and maintaining restrooms and buildings, the position is responsible for directing State Workers assigned to clean and maintain public restrooms and buildings. The position is required to maintain inventory logs for equipment, tools and supplies, as well as maintenance and cleaning records for the restroom and beach house facilities. The position also assists with visitor services and public contact by responding to visitor questions, providing information during their interactions with visitors and assisting park officers during medical response and lost person incidents. This position will also be responsible for performing minor facility and grounds maintenance in and around restrooms and park buildings.
