What are the responsibilities and job description for the MDCR - Division of Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing Intern position at State of Michigan?

Responsibilities:
- Perform research for the division
- Administrative functions as needed
- Gather and compile information
- Assist with development of materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs
- Technology background a plus
- Knowledge of American Sign Language a plus
- Awareness of individuals who are deaf, deafblind or hard of hearing a plus
This is a virtual internship.
At the time of internship, the applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Applicants who are working toward a degree in American Sign Language, Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, and/or Sociology are preferred.
