Our team is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic Licensed E10 – HVAC Technician for our BFS Team. While this is a statewide position, the primary focus will be in the lower/southern eastern and central areas of the state (Metro and University Regions). We are looking for someone who can embrace the challenges of meeting our goals and exceeding the standards!
Operate a vehicle or vehicle/trailer combination with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more (e.g., multiple types of vehicle/trailer combinations) when performing general loading/unloading and transportation of supplies, equipment, and material.

Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Refrigeration Mechanic 10
Five years of experience in the HVAC or refrigeration mechanic trade, such as heating and cooling, hydronic heating, refrigeration cooling, or mechanical contractor or inspector, including one year equivalent to a Refrigeration Mechanic E9.
Refrigeration Mechanic 10
Completion of a vocational training program in refrigeration mechanics that includes commercial or industrial level instruction may be substituted for two years of experience assisting skilled trades workers.
To be considered for this position you must:
- Possess a mechanical contractor's license to carry out refrigeration mechanic work at the construction or remodeling project sites. Required upon hire a Mechanical Contractor's License with classifications 2, 5, and 7.
- Possess a Commercial Learner's permit at the time of hire. Continuing employment requires possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Group A with an N or X endorsement which must be obtained within 12 months from the date of hire.
Some positions may be assigned maintenance, service, repair, or disposal duties that could reasonably be expected to release refrigerants into the atmosphere requiring certification in compliance with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act of 1990, as amended.
