Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
This position serves as the primary point of contact for individuals and businesses who contact the Commerce Department with licensing and unclaimed property inquiries. This position will interact with the public on a daily basis, responding to phone, written and in-person contacts. This position must maintain a comprehensive understanding of Department policies, procedures, and legal requirements for licensing and unclaimed property in Minnesota.Responsibilities include : Assist consumers with reaching their licensing and unclaimed property goals. Resolve in-person, walk-in inquiries from consumers with licensing and unclaimed property issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Customer Service Skills sufficient to be able to explain laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures to clients, coworkers, and customers. Word Processing Database Management English (reading, writing & speaking)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree 3 years call center experience or similar customer services setting Experience with Minnesota licensing or unclaimed property practices, law, or processes
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
