This position provides structured training to Driver and Vehicle Services employees and business partners. The employee performs intermediate-level training duties as a member of the DVS Training Unit. The employee determines training needs, develops training for assigned program areas, delivers the needed training, and evaluates the success of the training process.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in each of the following :
Experience delivering workplace training via WebEx or Teams
Designing and developing training materials for adult learners
Ability to assess training needs
Knowledge of WCAG / Section 508 Accessibility standards and its impact on users
Demonstrated ability to design eLearning OR develop with eLearning tools
Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in designing and / or delivering customer service training
Experience creating accessible PDFs, video, and eLearning to meet WCAG 2.1 / Section 508 compliance
Experience updating / maintaining training documentation in a content manager or learning manager system
Working knowledge of Driver Licensing or Motor Vehicle content and / or MN Driver and Vehicle Licensing Application (MNDRIVE).
Physical Requirements
Requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others, and moving and transporting light objects frequently. Even though the weights being moved and transported may be a negligible amount, a job in this category may require positioning self to move to a significant degree or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods.
