Job Summary

  • NOTE: This position limited in duration based on funding availability, possibly until June 30, 2026. Employment is at will and may end at any time.

Provides professional nutrition, dietetic and food service program coordination, evaluation, consultation, technical assistance and in-service training to MN National Guard Service Members with the Holistic Health and Fitness System. Monitors compliance with federal and state laws and regulations for nutrition programs. Provides professional nutrition, dietetic and food service program coordination, evaluation, consultation, technical assistance and in-service training to MN National Guard Service Members with the Holistic Health and Fitness System. Emphasizes improving nutrition and dietary programs of public health or educational activities in which food and nutrition play a role. General guidance is received from H2F Director.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensure/Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and licensure in Nutrition or Dietetics with corresponding licensure to practice in the State of Minnesota
  • Experience: 3 years practicing as a nutritionist/dietitian
  • Must possess a valid Minnesota driver license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree and licensure in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Experience: 5 years in the nutrition/wellness industry
  • Prior experience with the military
  • Experience educating and counseling military service members
