See MSPB Careers for information regarding this classificationsFirst-level professional Human Resources position accountable for duties that are professional in nature and employees act as an adviser in the Agencies in one or more areas of human resources. Under direct supervision, positions are accountable for duties in agency human resources programs, policies, and procedures related to recruitment and selection, classification, salary analysis, benefits, appointments, and performance evaluation, and ensures work done is in compliance with relevant federal and state laws. Position may also be responsible for preparing reports at an agency or state wide level that can be used by managers and Statewide HR for the purposes of managing human resources costs. Employees at this level may also direct and review the work, such as payroll and related actions, of lower level employees.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience.
