About the Agency : To provide the highest level of health care services through integrated behavioral health programs.

About the Position :

  • Responsible for all areas of risk related to staff and patients
  • Assures that an appropriate inspection, testing, and maintenance program is implemented
  • Schedules competent vendors to complete all required inspections and maintenance on Life Safety equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Life Safety Code 101
  • Emergency Management Coordinator for the hospital; responsible for reviewing and updating the hospital's EOP (Emergency Operation Plans) annually
  • Manage and direct areas of safety, including Fire & Safety and Emergency Management
  • Responsible for coordinating all inspections related to fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems
  • Analyzing various reports from different hospital departments to identify potential risk and generate recommendations to help minimize risks

What you'll need to be Successful : The ability to establish beneficial relationships between the Risk Management Dept and other hospital departments, programs, and outside vendors.

Preferred Qualifications : Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience. Agency preferred qualifications :

    Flexible Spending Accounts

    Paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave Full-time employees receive paid time off for personal needs and for sick leave. Leave begins accruing after one month of employment and may be used as it is accrued. Employees earn approximately 18 days of personal leave annually and 12 days of sick leave annually.

    Military Leave

    In accordance with federal law, all employees serving in the armed forces or the military reserves are entitled to 15 days per year for military training.
