EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
First-level professional position at the county/assigned location level involving the preparation and maintenance of all county financial records and the direction of business operations in a social services department. Incumbents investigate and resolve client complaints and verify receipt collections through the computer system. Jobs at this level explain and interprets policies and programs, rights, and responsibilities to clients, making appropriate referrals to other social services departments, or other agencies as needed. Employees may also oversee ongoing community based services to clients with significant disabilities. Responsible for planning and monitoring of accessibility needs and in-home personal care services to ensure clients remain as independent as possible in both the home and community based setting.
