This position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137.

- Implement behavioral support techniques developed by the behavior resource team for consumers potentially requiring more restrictive environments due to their behaviors.
- Respond to crisis situations and implement interventions established until behavior is safe.
- Ability to implement and instruct others in the implementation of behavior support plans and crisis intervention techniques.
- Ability to lift clients and assist in performing transfers and physical restraint procedures.
- Use of hands-on skills (dependent care).
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard behavior modification techniques, including receiving an Advanced Skills certificate of the Safety Care program, and maintaining this certification
- Ability to maintain all trainings, including CORE, CPR, and First Aid.
- Ability to have and maintain a L1MA certification.
- One or more years of direct care experience with implementing behavior support plans for persons with developmental disabilities.
- Possession of High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred, but not required, possession of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
