FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGIST
Facilitate process groups and psychoeducational groups in our Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services program (SORTS). SORTS is a civil involuntary commitment program for the treatment of sexually violent predators to ensure their safe return to the community. Conduct Individual Risk Assessments for persons deemed sexually violent predators. Act as the Internship Director for psychology interns seeking formal training in sex offender treatment and assessment. Develop, implement, and coordinate psychological services in an assigned, sexual offender, treatment/habilitation program. Formulate and present diagnostic and treatment plan recommendations for review during multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. Conduct trauma-focused psychological interventions for remediating psychological and behavioral problems. Collect and analyze client-based data concerning intervention programs to improve quality of services. Participate in the development of and facilitate psychoeducational programs. Conduct Trauma-Informed Care presentations to new employees. Position requires Psy.D or Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, completion of a post-doctoral fellowship program in forensic psychology, and Missouri Psychologist license eligibility.
