The Department of Public Safety, Office of the Director is seeking a professional to join the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) team. Duties of this position include professional clerical work and support and/or service functions in established, service oriented programs. The OVC administers programs, provides support services and resources to assist and protect victims of violent crime, at-risk youth, and their families. We are looking for team member who believes in providing quality service with compassion, integrity, a high degree of confidentiality, strong work ethic, and accountability.

Job Description:
- Serve as receptionist for the OVC answer/route general phone, email inquiries and correspondence.
- Coordinate and maintain appointments, calendar of events and special meetings of the OVC
- Monitoring and maintenance of the OVC website and promotional materials
- Provide support services including logistics for meetings, training/travel events, and file maintenance
- Assist with grant intake/closeout, tracking, reporting and monitoring processes
Qualifications and Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of high school equivalence certificate. Four years of applicable full-time clerical experience.
Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to interact professionally on the telephone or in person with the public and OVC stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and strive toward continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of general office management practices and equipment.
- Knowledge of a variety of support service functions.
- Ability to organize work assignments, multi-task and be flexible.
- Perform other related work as assigned.
- Knowledge of grant processes are helpful, but not required
