Northwest Community Services is recruiting for a Maintenance/Grounds Technician, to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 500 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. NWCS is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 139 individuals receiving 24/7 residential services in their own homes across four counties. This position will be domiciled in Marshall.
The Maintenance/Grounds Technician must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, ability to interpret, provide, and follow directions, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willing to travel. Ability to operate related equipment and ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
The Maintenance/Grounds Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled tasks for the supported individual’s homes with general maintenance repairs, including but not limited to running toilets, installing appliances, repairs to interior and exterior of homes, and other tasks as identified.
1-3 Years Of Relevant Experience Preferred.
Scheduled to work 8 am to 4:30 pm, with Saturday and Sunday off.
