This position will be located at Lewis and Clark Office Building, 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri .
OPTIONAL : The Missouri Hydrology Information Center is an exciting project in Missouri Department of Natural Resources deploying soil monitoring equipment, streamgages, developing a flood and drought dashboard, conducting alluvial aquifer studies, and contributing to a broader community of practice in these fields.

- Helping with operations and planning within the Missouri Hydrology Information Center (MoHIC)
- Help plan and coordinate field work for MoHIC projects
- Coordinate with stakeholders and partners to accomplish project goals
- Assist with streamgage installations and stream surveys
- Assist with soil monitoring equipment installations and soil sample collections
To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills:

- Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: Uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.
- Physical Strength and Agility: Ability to bend, lift, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time; ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary
- College education and/or field work experience are preferred. A degree in an environmental science based or adjacent field is preferred.
