Job Location: This position will be located at the Missouri National Guard MO-AVCRAD in Springfield, Missouri
- Provide security and protection to aircraft, equipment, and personnel. Protection of military resources located at your assigned base to include buildings and grounds.
- Observes activities of base personnel, civilian staff, and the general public. Conducts searches of persons and property within jurisdictional limitations and contact police when necessary.
- This position will be required to have availability for all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Drag, carry, lift, and/or pull a person to safety
- Use physical force to detain a subject or prevent unauthorized entry
- Prolonged standing and/or sustained patrol on foot or in a vehicle
- Sustained pursuit of a suspect on foot
- Dodging, crawling, climbing, and/or rapid ascent of stairs
- Perform the above wearing duty equipment and/or personal protective equipment under adverse environmental conditions
- High School education required
- Valid Motor Vehicle license
- Ability to pass initial background investigations
- Ability to acquire and maintain a T3/Secret clearance eligibility
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical ability test consisting of a 1.5 mile run in 17:30 and 19 push-ups in 2 minutes
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Military and/or law enforcement experience
- Ability to assess information and take corrective action
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Computer proficiency with experience working with Microsoft Office programs
