What You’ll Do
- Conduct investigations of suspected violations and or incidents related to administrative law.
- Collect, assemble, and preserve facts, statements, affidavits for use in legal actions.
- Prepare and review detailed reports of investigative findings.
- Serve subpoenas.
- Testify in criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings.
- Review criminal backgrounds for licensure and renewal applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two or more years of civil, administrative or criminal investigative experience, or experience as a law enforcement officer; and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in criminal justice, law enforcement, criminology, business administration, social sciences or closely related area.(Qualifying experience will substitute for deficiencies in education.); or
- One or more years of experience as a Non-Commissioned Investigator.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must possess a valid Missouri driver license.
- Must be able to complete and pass the Real Estate Salesperson Course and examination within six months.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement experience with an emphasis in investigations.
- Ability to prepare clear, organized and detailed reports of investigative findings.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to travel within the state.
