What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Development Training Manager position at State of Missouri?
Expected Salary :$2,786.77 semi-monthly or $66,882.50 annually
This full time position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off. You will need to have a flexible schedule to train on all three shifts or other locations, as needed.
You will be working with staff who enjoy caring for persons who are impacted by a mental illness or developmental disability. This is a training and development supervisor/manager position responsible for coordinating and developing policies and administrative procedures related to the operation of a training program.Employee will provide oversight and daily supervision, direction and delegation of work to training instructors who are assigned to specialized training duty.Employees may also participate in training design and instruction and are accountable for the work performance of training staff and compliance with established objectives.Supervision of staff includes making hiring recommendations; providing training; planning and reviewing assignments, assessing performance, coaching, and progressive discipline.Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.

- A Bachelor’s degree AND at least five to seven years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
- Must have 1-2 years of Supervisory experience.
- Must be very proficient with Microsoft and other computer programs.
- Must be highly self-motivated, organized, and possess the ability to prioritize workload.
