Optimizes performance, scalability, and security, and audits for vulnerabilities.Manages recovery operations, backups, and disaster recovery procedures, and ensures data integrity and availability to contribute to Continuity of Operations.Ensures secure and efficient data exchange across Linux Server, macOS, and integrated systems.Develops and integrates solutions to establish and implement end-user device policies, ensuring consistency and compliance. Assists with service delivery (e.g., Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), and File Services).Packages and deploys software to staff. Administers Mobile Device Management (e.g., laptops, phones, printers) and Identity Access Management (i.e., user accounts).Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to all end-user devices, applications, and services for infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and automation.Maintains inventory of computers, monitors, and mobile devices, including preparing computer equipment for surplus, replacement schedules, and receiving and deploying new computer equipment and software.Supports training regarding hardware and software and assists with development and delivery of training.Demonstrates commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.Working Conditions and Travel : This position requires approximately 90% of work time spent in an office environment (e.g., state offices, home offices); the remaining 10% is spent traveling or working in alternative sites such as other NDE offices, conferences, or meetings. There is also approximately one day of overnight travel per month.Requirements / QualificationsMinimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, computer engineering, or management information systems, and two years of experience related to the essential functions of the position. Any equivalent education and / or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.Preferred Qualifications : Experience supporting Linux Server and Mac OS, and some Microsoft OS experience.
