We are looking for a skilled, professional Nurse Practitioner / APRN. In this role you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide critical care to adult patients with mental illness at Lincoln Regional Center (LRC), an inpatient, 250-bed, Joint Commission-accredited state psychiatric hospital which is run by NE DHHS and is located in Lincoln, NE.
LRC serves people who need very specialized psychiatric services and provides services to people who, because of mental illness, require a highly structured treatment setting.

As a Nurse Practitioner / APRN you will :
- Provide direct patient care for involuntary psychiatric inpatients at the Lincoln Regional Center
- Will provide initial psychiatric evaluations, on-going patient evaluations related to progress with treatment and competency, medication management, and oversight of treatment process
- Coordinate the patient's treatment with other members of the treatment team
- Participate with discharge and aftercare recommendations
Pay rate : $53.604 - 96.487 / hour. Pay rate may be commensurate with education and / or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved.
Requirements / Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications : Successful completion of an accredited program for Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. Incumbents must have a current, valid license as a Registered Nurse and be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nebraska.
Preferred Qualifications : Specialized training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders.
