Job Description:
Staffing Coordination:
- Plan, organize, assign, and direct the work activities of supporting staff.
- Ensure that all hospital departments are adequately staffed with the right mix of personnel, including clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Monitor shift schedules and resolve any staffing gaps or issues promptly.
- Coordinate with department managers to prioritize staffing needs, especially in critical areas.
Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Supervise and lead the staffing office team, including assigning tasks, providing training to your staff, and ensuring high levels of performance.
- Conduct performance Evaluations and foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members to grow in their roles.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shifts, employee status, certifications, and other relevant data.
- Prepare and submit staffing reports to facility leadership as required.
- Keep an updated staffing vacancy list for the Talent Acquisition Team to recruit and hire from.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the staffing office and other hospital departments.
- Provide excellent customer service to all the facility staff, responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Wage: $20.106 per hour, with an increase to $21.112 after successful completion of probation. $3.00 per hour facility differential.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Experience in office administrative functions, bookkeeping, and secretarial work including experience leading other clerical, secretarial or technical support staff.
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma. Valid Driver's License. Customer Service. Office experience. Leadership.
Other: Must be at least 19 years of age.
Knowledge of: The principles of management and human relations; the methods, procedures, and equipment of office operations and administrative functions; the methods and procedures of training; business arithmetic; the procedures and processes of bookkeeping and record keeping.
Skill in: Use of computer software to word process, prepare correspondence, and track information.
Ability to: Plan, organize, control, and direct office service units in secretarial, clerical and/or technical support activities; determine subordinate staff training needs; train subordinate staff in office policies, procedures, and equipment usage; communicate effectively; retrieve and exchange information; identify and prioritize problems and formulate possible solutions; supervise and coordinate the work of others; establish positive working relationships with others.
