- Coordinate and reconcile daily deposit
- Prepare miscellaneous receipts
- Process inmate payroll, which includes monitoring pay documents, reports and activity to ensure inmate workers are paid correctly
- Complete log for receiving / issuing pop tokens
- Process inmate travel orders
- Research confiscated appeals from inmates
- Serve as contact for inmate accounting and coordinator of inmate payroll
- Train supervisors to use inmate payroll software
- Answer Inmate Interview Requests
- Review electronic receipts
- Assist business manager as needed
- Review / approve all outgoing inmate institutional checks
- Review, code, and approve purchasing documents
- Facilitate American Correctional Association (ACA) file preparation for standards to assure accreditation.Requirements / QualificationsMinimum Qualifications : Coursework / training in administrative / office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency OR experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria / regulations; and / or performing administrative / office / secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.Preferred Qualifications : Minimum two years' experience / training / education in administrative / office / clerical support functions. Experience with Microsoft Office applications.Other : Applicants accepting a job offer must pass a medical exam, and at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test.
