Job Description :
This position, under the NSP Professional Standards Division, assists the Administrative Programs Manager II with managing the Combined Law Enforcement Information Network (CLEIN). CLEIN supports over 100 Nebraska law enforcement and criminal justice agencies in accessing federal and state databases like NCIC, N-DEx, Nlets, and others.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and deliver NCIC and Nlets training to students for certification.
- Conduct triennial policy audits for FBI compliance.
- Review data accuracy for NCIC entries and CLEIN transactions.
- Troubleshoot NCIC / Nlets error transactions.
- Monitor agency compliance with FBI policies on CLEIN access.
- Provide policy guidance and support to NSP and partner agencies.
- Liaise with other NSP Divisions, the DMV, and other CLEIN partners.
- Coordinate with terminal agency coordinators and criminal justice administrators.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : Associate degree in public or business administration, accounting, or any discipline related to the work assigned. One year of experience in administrative, business management or technical support work including collecting and interpreting statistical, financial, program, or administrative data; or interpreting laws, rules, regulations, and processes. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
