JOB DUTIES:
General Park Worker:
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the park grounds.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of park restrooms, picnic areas, and campgrounds.
- Support grounds keeping activities such as lawn mowing, weeding, and gardening.
- Aid in the setup and breakdown of park events and activities.
- Provide general assistance to visitors, including answering questions and giving directions.
- Assist in basic maintenance tasks for park facilities and equipment.
- Support various departments as needed, contributing to the park's overall operation.
- Assist in handling cash and credit card transactions at entry kiosks, offices, concessions, or activity centers.
- Provide information to visitors and answer inquiries about the park or area.
- Conduct tours of various attractions within the park.
- File materials and record routine information and assist in sorting and filing materials.
- Maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
Housekeeping Aide:
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including bed-making and restroom cleaning.
- Replace amenities like towels, soap, and toilet tissue for guest convenience.
- Operate commercial laundry machines.
- Address any specific guest requests or requirements promptly and efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or damages for prompt resolution.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency in service quality.
- Support team efforts during peak periods or special events to meet guest demands.
- Provide table service, take food orders, and deliver food to tables.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the dining room for a pleasant guest experience.
- Clearing and cleaning tables.
- Cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with on-site events.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: No specific education or experience is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of: customer service, agricultural practices, housekeeping, food service, storekeeping, filing or general office procedures; history, animal husbandry, and wildlife or recreation.
Ability to: understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively; make simple mathematical computations; learn the history, culture, and recreational use of the tourist attraction; meet and interact with the public.
