Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and manage park housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Supervise crews responsible for cleaning rental units, shower houses, bathrooms, lodge rooms, and outhouses, prioritizing quality control and inventory management.
- Oversee laundry operations at designated state parks.
- Assist with managing equipment maintenance, building upkeep, and supplies related to housekeeping operations.
- Hire, train, and supervise a seasonal workforce, promoting teamwork and motivation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in park/recreation management or a related field (wildlife, fisheries, natural resources sciences, public administration, history, cultural resource preservation or interpretation, travel and tourism, and planning).
- One year of related experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree, considering coursework/training and/or experience in park/recreation management.
- Experience and education related to park housekeeping operations and overall knowledge of park operations.
