Job Description:
Groundskeepers maintain and improve the landscapes around buildings and facilities, making sure that our Lincoln locations always look their best! This is temporary employment for up to 9 months. Teammates working an assignment of 6 months or more are benefits eligible!
Job Duties:
• Mow and maintain the grounds for two NDOT locations.
• Remove snow and ice in the winter months during regular business hours and after hours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior groundskeeping experience. Valid Driver's License.
Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Effective communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, climb, bend, stoop, and work outside in temperature extremes.
