The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a Continuous Learning Plan Coordinator to lead the development and execution of training and professional development initiatives for court employees across Nevada's trial and appellate courts.
The position ensures that court personnel have access to high-quality learning opportunities through multiple educational formats. The coordinator will work closely with internal and external educators, Nevada’s trial and appellate courts, subject matter experts, and the Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrator to develop and maintain comprehensive and effective training programs.

This position can be located in Carson City or Las Vegas. After an initial training period, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of the Court Employee Continuous Learning Plan.
- Facilitate and oversee in-person, online, and on-demand training sessions.
- Collaborate with educators and subject matter experts from Nevada’s trial and appellate courts to develop and deliver effective training programs.
- Identify training needs, support the creation of educational sessions, and deploy learning opportunities for court employees.
- Regularly update and expand the on-demand training library, working in coordination with the LMS administrator.
- Organize and manage annual conferences, including planning content, coordinating speakers, and handling logistics.
- Ensure training content aligns with adult learning principles and the latest in-person and online educational methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records of training participation and program effectiveness.
- Provide clear and timely communication with stakeholders regarding learning opportunities and initiatives.
- Stay current on best practices in adult education and instructional delivery methods.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring awareness and participation in training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in training coordination, program management, or a related role.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Experience with adult education principles and training best practices.
- Proficiency in online learning platforms and in-person instructional techniques.
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in court administration or legal education.
- Certification in instructional design or training development.
- Experience managing educational conferences or large-scale training events.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
Effectively works remotely and collaborates with employees from a remote location, as needed. Must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams. Must have the ability to work remotely via an internet network connection provided by the employee. This connection speed must be sufficient to perform all duties. A minimum of 50-100 mb download speeds are required. Higher connection speed may be required if sharing this connection with other members in an employee’s household.
