The Legal Secretary - III will:
Provide legal support services for the Child Support Services Division (CSSD).
How does it get done?
The Legal Secretary - III will be responsible for:
Completing all after-court activities on cases and updating the Child Support Services System (CSSS);
Tracking legal documents;
Scheduling and tracking genetic testing;
Preparing and tracking service documents;
Scheduling text messages for reminders;
Conducting locate searches;
Utilizing clerical and secretarial experience;
Applying legal terminology and procedures to process legal documents.

Parties of Child Support cases
Child Support Services Division (CSSD) staff;
CSSD Attorneys and Management.
Ideal Candidate
Parties of Child Support cases
Child Support Services Division (CSSD) staff;
CSSD Attorneys and Management.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent with one (1) year of directly related clerical and/or secretarial experience utilizing legal terminology, procedures, and documents. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License;
Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Office setting, exposure to VDT, extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some travel may be required.
