The Office Clerk, General - III will:
Be assigned to duties and responsibilities which are complex, difficult and varied;

Require the development and adoption of non-standard procedures and has substantial impact;

Perform under limited supervision or under limited direction.

How does it get done?

The Office Clerk, General - III is responsible for:
Maintaining financial or other records;

Verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness;

Performing highly specialized clerical work;

Handling and adjust customer complaints; take inventory of equipment and supplies;

Preparing deposits;

Answering questions on departmental services and functions;

Making travel arrangements; handle deposits and monetary transactions and perform audit functions;

Coordinating a clerical operation of a general nature and may provide training to less experienced clerks.

Income Support Division (ISD) customers.

Income Support Division (ISD) customers.

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) months experience in office administration and/or customer service. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions

Office setting, exposure to VDT, extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some travel may be required.
