This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County. Â
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Environmental Quality. This position is located at 3800 Barrett Dr, Raleigh, NC 27609.
The incumbent will be responsible for digitization of paper files. Â Position responsibilities will include removing staples and clips, organizing files in order by permit number and then date, scanning the files by permit number and date, and then uploading the files into the DWR digital repository, Laserfiche. Â The position will also be required to check the files to verify proper upload, and then coordinate with our team of inspectors to review the file and approve disposal of the paper files. This position will need to be in the office at 3800 Barrett Drive. Â This is not a hybrid position.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare, organize, and scan large document files.
- Demonstrated ability to upload scanned documents to a digital filing system, and enter filing data into database.
- Ability to facilitate work flow, and coordinate office support with other team members.
- Ability to understand basic issues, identify problems and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action.
