Some Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead technical design, solution and development using existing and new emerging technologies, offer design options, build and present prototypes, incorporate review feedback, develop, test, and manage SVN, GIT, CI/CD pipeline, participate in the deployment and post-production activities.
- Participating in requirement gathering sessions, refining requirements, designing new programs, analyzing, and modifying existing programs, debugging programs, doing code review for peer programmers, writing test plans/scenarios and testing.
- Participate in the development of solutions using programming expertise for day-to-day business and technical needs which include maintenance support, needed modification, or development of complex inter-related applications/solutions.
- Uplifting of the older versions and technologies used in the current environment to newer versions and/or state-of-the-art technologies.
- Work with a diverse set of stakeholders and provide strong overall analysis/programming support for one or more complex applications/information systems.
- System assessment and performance monitoring to identify and correct avoidable production interruption.
- Providing production support including nightly batch cycle as needed
- May be reassigned to support different applications as necessary to support the department’s critical needs and changing priorities.

- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL), including writing SQL scripts and integrating with projects (with or without JPA).
- Experience with application architectures, frameworks (IBM WebSphere, .NET), web servers (IIS, IBM HTTP Server), and version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Experience with no-SQL (like MongoDB), or similar database platforms.
- Experience using Python, NodeJS and JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, jQuery) with the ability to build applications with the latest tools and software.
