Description : The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Division 3 Construction Unit is seeking a motivated intern to assist with key tasks in driveway permitting, encroachment permitting, and construction inspection. This internship provides hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering, offering exposure to real-world transportation projects while developing essential technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the review and processing of driveway and encroachment permits.
- Participate in construction inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Work closely with district and resident engineers on assigned tasks and projects.
- Complete tasks requiring attention to detail, time management, and strong communication skills.
