Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay : $20.00 (Based on education and / or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Adult Correction (DAC). This position is located at 1300 Western Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27606.
This is a professional level position which provides basic and special diagnostic Radiological Services as ordered by the CPHC Medical Staff. The primary responsibility of this position to work in the X-Ray section.

Work Schedule : This is a first shift position 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
This is a full-time position (40) hours per week. Applicants must pass a background check to be eligible.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
NOTE : Qualified applicants must meet and CLEARLY reflect on their application training and experience and all knowledge, skills, abilities, and any experience or competencies specified in the posting and / or supplemental question(s) to be considered. - Knowledge of methods, techniques and operating principles involved in the operation of X-Ray equipment.
- Knowledge of working digital X-Ray equipment and PACs.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and proper positioning patients to secure desired radiographs.
- Ability to give first aid or handle an emergency situation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures to prevent radiation hazards.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school or General Education Development diploma and two years of experience in preparing for and conducting radiography and maintaining patient records and files; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
