Responsibilities include:
- Sampling and testing materials on highway construction projects.
- Assessing testing proficiency of technicians.
- Evaluating and reviewing inspectors' reports.
- Providing instruction in the Department's certification programs.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Survey Technology from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of experience in a technician role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification in sampling and testing asphalt, aggregate, concrete, and soils materials used in highway construction.
