We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of part-time permanent Custodial Worker within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Mohican State Park, assigned to Ashland County. This is a part-time position budgeted for 1800 hours per fiscal year (approximately 34 hours per week). This position will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do...

• Work outside in some of the most beautiful parks in Ohio
• Interact daily with a variety of customers who utilize the park & watercraft facilities
• Perform custodial & housekeeping duties such as cleaning restrooms, offices, campgrounds, service centers, park buildings, & shower houses, cleaning fire rings & grills, removing trash; wash & dry laundry; order supplies
• Operate utility vehicles, golf carts, and pickup trucks
• Remove snow & ice from walkways (shovel and spreading salt)
• Perform laundry tasks using industrial washers and dryers
• Starting hourly pay of $18.06/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 3 years of service, with an end salary of $19.30/hr.
