What we need:
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Equipment Operator 4 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Paint Creek State Park Construction, assigned to Highland County. Please note this is a travel position. You will be traveling to different parks due to current park needs for construction and repairs.
What you will do…
- Will operate a variety of heavy construction equipment to complete construction and maintenance projects within ODNR
- Performs routine maintenance & repairs on equipment & buildings/ground maintenance
- Maintains & completes accurate & concise maintenance records, project logs & reports
- Position requires a Class A CDL, no restrictions
- Overnight travel required at least 50% of your work week within the state of Ohio
- Starting hourly pay of $21.63/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 4.5 years of service, with an end salary of $24.66/hr.
