JOB TITLE JOB DETAILS:
- Starting Hourly Pay: $41.23 with multiple pay increases over your first years of service

- OPERS retirement - The employee contributes 10% of their salary towards their retirement. The employer contributes an amount equal to 14% of the employee’s salary.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serves as Assistant Director of Nursing in a medium size nursing home (e,g„ 150-200 residents arid 125-175 nursing employees) of Ohio Veterans Horne- Georgetown. Assists in the development, implementation & monitoring of quality assurance programs, serves as liaison between nursing/medical services & other disciplines. Reviews & evaluates budgetary needs (e.g., equipment, supplies, manpower); writes & reviews reports & under direction of Director of Nursing serves as clinical nurse manager of Ohio Veterans Horne-Georgetown. Develops, implements, & evaluates the agency’s Wound Care Program: (e.g. writes, revises, & updates Wound Care policies & procedures; coordinates clinical monitors and other written documentation pertaining to Wound Care for the agency; critique, analyze & develop &/or assist in the development of appropriate action plan(s) to address the monthly “Facility Quality Indicator Profile" report generated for ODH; Determines trends & patterns for the nursing home based on the information provided on the Quality Indicators, Acts as resource person to department heads/supervisors and the agency. Assists with investigating, tracking, & reporting sentinel events & adverse events. Other duties as assigned.
Responsible for 24 hour clinical, administrative & operational management of nursing unit/units; assists assigned staff in developing, evaluating & achieving unit goals, objectives & quality outcome for resident in collaboration with interdis- ciplinary behavioral health care team. Directs decisions related to treatment for residents; accountable for delegating, coordinating & evaluating nursing care; oversees accuracy of CMS date on resident level of care. Assists in developing, implementing & monitoring performance improvement programs; serves as liaison between Director of Nursing & subordinate staff. Assumes responsibility & authority in absence of Director of Nursing.
Supervises employees to provide nursing care for residents; coordinates work schedules; monitors resident charts for nursing compliance with standards & assists staff in performance of nursing duties. Maintains open communications with administration,1 professional medical staff, nursing staff & other departmental staff to identify & solve problem areas & to initiate & implement a course of action to maintain quality resident care.
Serves on committees & attends variety of meeting (e.g., Quality Assurance, Infection Control, Departmental Staff, Ethics, Utilization Review & Pharmacy); serves as member of interdisciplinary teams & attends &/or conducts meetings; attends seminars & workshops to remain currant on trends & innovations in health care. Develops & administers special programs & projects for Ohio Veterans Horne-Georgetown.
