BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Review and process all referrals received relating to lapsed policies and create an assignment in the Employer Compliance Tracker.
- Research critical demographic information related to referrals prior to assignment to an ECO in the tracker.
- Provide administrative support and continuing research for Employer Compliance Officers.
- Coordinate with other departments and agencies in support of field investigation of identified issues.
Required Experience and/or Education:
- 12 mos. exp. as Accountant/ Examiner 1, 66111, with state government exp. commensurate with duties to be assigned.
- Or 24 mos. exp. in position involving review & processing of claims, collections, billings, payments or review of documents for accuracy, completeness &/or compliance with reporting guidelines, laws or rules with exp. commensurate to duties to be assigned.
- Or 16 semester or 24 quarter hours in accounting; 12 mos. exp. in accounting or other fiscal/financial activity.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

MAJOR WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:

computer & photocopier*. Ability to apply principles to solve practical, everyday problems; gather, collate & classify
information about data, people or things; complete routine forms & prepare standard reports & business correspondence;
handle routine & sensitive inquiries from & contacts with other government officials, general public, claimants &/or
providers.

BWC OCSEA Selection Rights
This position shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of the OCSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. BWC bargaining unit members have selection rights before non-bargaining unit members. All other applications will only be considered if an internal bargaining unit applicant is not selected for this position.
Salary Information
Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary is set at lowest rate of the salary range. In most cases successful employees will move up a step in the salary range within six months, with subsequent step increases occurring every year as supported by successful performance evaluation results.
