The Division of Tax Equalization - Research & Stats is looking to fill one (1) Researcher 2.
What You'll Do As a Researcher 2
- Ensure accuracy, quality and consistency in the Division's data collection, preparation, analysis, outputs;
- Assist in determining, developing and developing statistical programming and research projects (including scope, need, and funding);
- Determining, developing, and deploying the statistical and research methods and programs needed to produce outputs associated with Section and Division’s duties;
- Produce sales ratio studies and other related reports and analyses used to ensure the accuracy and uniformity of real property values;
- Calculating of tax reduction factors (HB 920 credits) and effective tax rates for every political unit and taxing district in Ohio;
- Develop and maintain guidance, datasets, materials, and publications used to ensure the accurate and uniform assessment of real property taxes throughout the state;
- Provision of training presentations to County Auditors, local taxing authorities, and political subdivisions.
