About the Position: This position is part of a team responsible for preventative maintenance, repair, or upkeep of buildings and grounds for Griffin Memorial Hospital & the Children's Recovery Center. This level performs general maintenance and repair work as well as some specialized skill work in the building trades. The ideal candidate has at least some exposure to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC work, and is a self-starter - driven and accountable.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Preplacement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

Job Type/Salary
- 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week
- Level II: $16.58 hourly
- Some on-call may be required
- Posted: 1/28/2025 until filled
- Four years of experience in one or more of the building trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety.
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 80 pounds, 25 pounds frequently, push and pull a maximum force of 40 pounds, and lift/hold overhead 40 pounds.
