Part-Time Customer Service Representative

Location: Honey Springs Battlefield

Hours: 15-19 hours per week (primarily Fridays and Saturdays)

Position Summary

A Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the first point of contact for visitors at Honey Springs Battlefield. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and informative experience for the public. The ideal candidate is approachable, professional, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and assist with their needs during their visit.
• Answer and direct phone calls; process information requests accurately.
• Receive and direct visitors, including school tours, ensuring proper check-in and wayfinding.
• Handle daily financial transactions, including collecting admission and sales fees, processing payments (cash and credit), and reconciling totals.
• Stock and maintain the gift shop and assist visitors with purchases.
• Help maintain a clean and organized museum and reception area.
• Represent the museum with a high level of professionalism in all guest interactions.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, and occasional holidays or evenings.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
