- Collaborate with division / department heads (stakeholders) to ensure proper workflows and processes are followed in ensuring grant award compliance
- Provide oversight in reporting and data collection requirements for all grant awards
- Facilitate auditing and monitoring review processes, coordinating with key stakeholders and external partners as necessary
- Supervising support staff, coaching staff as necessary to meet agency and department goals
- Cultivate, manage, and maintain relationships with organizational funders and stakeholders through targeted and strategic outreach, interpretation, and stewardship
- Conduct internal and external research to identify funding opportunities with foundations, governmental agencies, corporate, and community-based funding organizations
- Support diversification of agency funding sources as possible through strategic outreach and monitoring for new funding opportunities
- Monitor application and reporting timelines and communicate them interdepartmentally to ensure we are meeting deadlines and requirements
- Prepare strategic program and project budgets in collaboration with internal staff and approved by departmental leadership; ensuring that each is in format appropriate to both internal needs and funder understanding
- Oversee the preparation and submissions of applications and reports in accordance with federal and state requirements and deadlines and provide guidance to program staff on necessary and/or useful evaluation strategies to grow reporting capacity and improve outcome-based proposal writing
- Work with stakeholders to ensure they are informed of the requirements of grant contracts and assist in advising on how best to navigate any necessary changes through communication.
- Serves as the communication liaison for DOL and other grant partners, overseeing submissions of applications, revisions, reports and grant related requests.

- Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise level. While performing the duties of the job, employee is required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires regular periods of sitting or standing and daily use of computer and phone. It also requires the occasional use of the office machinery in accordance with safety and security protocols.
- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree and five years of professional experience in business or public administration, including two years in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of technical administrative* or professional experience in business or public administration for each year of the required education. One year of technical administrative* experience may be applied for one year only of the required experience. *Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager. NOTE: No substitution will be allowed for the required professional level experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
- Computer Skills – Employee must be capable of proficiently using the OESC’s standard software (Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Teams), and the Internet, as well as proficiency to learn other software as needed.
