DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Mechanical Engineer Consultant, you will utilize your expertise to provide technical support for a range of mechanical engineering projects within statewide corrections institutions. Your responsibilities will include devising solutions for complex operation, maintenance, design, or construction issues that require advanced mechanical engineering principles and techniques. Additionally, you will serve as a project coordinator for construction projects, collaborating with professional, licensed engineers or leading in-house design projects. Your role as a mechanical engineering expert will be crucial in ensuring the success and efficiency of these projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to an office in Mechanicsburg. Please note, telework agreements are subject to change.
- Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
