THE POSITION

We are on the lookout for a Section Chief, Oil and Gas Operations (Natural Resource Program Supervisor), who can play a vital role in enhancing our environmental efforts. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will oversee the management of natural gas planning, exploration, development, and operations impacting the surface areas of State Forest and State Park lands in Pennsylvania. This division is responsible for the comprehensive statewide program concerning geology, conservation, natural resource development, and environmental protection related to oil, gas, gas storage, hard minerals, coal extraction, and water contamination issues on state forest and park lands. You will assess the viability of oil and gas development, provide recommendations on specific terms and conditions of various lease agreements, amendments, and surface use agreements, and perform regular field inspections of ongoing infrastructure development.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
