Position Purpose:
The HR Associate supports the People function across our US concepts by maintaining HR systems, assisting with reporting and data analysis, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This role helps to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, supports day-to-day HR operations, and contributes to a positive employee experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Server as a first point of contact for employee questions, routing complex issues to the appropriate HR or Operational partner.
- Provide administrative support for HR systems (HRIS), including data entry, employee record maintenance, and participation in system updates or implementations.
- Participate in employee engagement activities to help promote our workplace culture.
- Help communicate and promote awareness of Company benefits programs and wellness offerings.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by helping to monitor HR practices and documentation.
- Assist Training Manager in coordinating and delivering employee training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using established content and resources
- Support operational and corporate leaders in reinforcing company policies, procedures, and training best practices.
- Create standard HR reports to support compliance, audits, and internal data requests.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality and/or retail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
