Class Definition
This position is responsible for overseeing and/or managing gaming product(s) within the portfolio of Lottery products and offerings. In addition to the Additional Responsibilities detailed below - the Project Coordinator position requires attention to detail, a demonstrated ability to set and maintain deadlines, strong communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to lead a project. This position requires some evening and weekend hours.

Specific to new hires, the law requires that all employees hired after September 30, 2014 participate in direct deposit. Accordingly, any employee hired after this date will be required to participate in the direct deposit system. At the time the employee is hired, the employee shall identify a financial institution that will serve as a personal depository agency for the employee.

- Developing and executing strategic roadmaps for the Lottery's gaming products.
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis to understand the gambling product landscape, including customer preferences.
- Collecting, tracking, and analyzing competitive data
- Identifying new features for products and services working across Lottery departments and with various vendors to implement features to enrich the customer experience.
- Working to resolve customer complaints and utilizing those complaints to prioritize product improvements.
- Working with marketing, both internal and at Lottery's vendors, to develop and implement product marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Monitoring and analyzing product performance metrics, such as revenue, customer acquisition rates, and retention to identify areas for improvement and to inform product strategy.
- Staying current on industry trends to ensure products remain competitive.
- Assisting and communicating with the Lottery's Legal staff to ensure Lottery's Rules and Regulations are updated when product changes are made.
- Collecting, displaying through effective visualization tools, and analyzing various data related to Lottery products.
- The successful candidate must be a team player, open to new challenges and assignments, and curious.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of the Lottery.
Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in product management, preferably within the sports betting or online gaming industry.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and experience working with data to inform product decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
