What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant #128 (Adult Clinic Services) position at State of South Carolina?
This position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health, Adult Clinic Services, CAMHC #128.
Under direct supervision, assists with facilitating telehealth appointments for all remote MDs; connect platform, centralized scheduling for all PMAs/Med Mons/Lab/ and Therapy appointments.
Completes all applications for patient assistance programs, Welvista, and Hardship reduction. Provides administrative support to the medical staff, to include taking hospital aftercare calls, ensuring discharge records and medication lists are properly imported, managing blocked scheduling time as it relates to meetings and treatment teams, rescheduling appointments for medical providers and RNs when out of office or during times of inclement weather. Also includes preparing correspondence such as missed appointment letters, work excuses, and jury duty excuses.
Serve as back up to assist with answering Med Line and covering the front desk duties of ACS.
State Requirements: A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.Supplemental questions are considered part of the application.
