Administrative Specialist II (Medical) Greenwood MHC

With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.              

 This position is with the Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, Greenwood Mental Health Clinic, 1547 Parkway, Greenwood, SC 29646.

  Under general supervision, this position will work closely with patients, doctors, nurses, and drug company representatives to ensure that patient's medical needs are met effectively and timely.  In addition, this position will serve in a supportive role for the medical staff, performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties.

State Minimum Requirements:

 A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.

Agency (Facility) Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree and one (1) year responsible clerical or administrative experience; or high school graduation and five (5) years responsible clerical or administrative experience.

Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Salary : $27,510 - $50,905
