Job Duties:
- The APS Training Instructor serve as an Adult Advocacy training/instruction coordinator by participating in the planning, designing, implementing, conducting and coordinating of certification and professional development courses.
- Delivery and creation of in-person and virtual employee training and professional development programs on a wide range of Adult Advocacy topics. Assist with designing lessons, including the selection and organization of curriculum content, methods, and materials needed to accomplish learning objectives.
- Work with regions to analyze Adult Advocacy training needs, to include problem solving and identifying program development needs.
- Coordinate schedules, location and equipment needs for courses, workshops, seminars and conferences. Develop and maintain a professional classroom training environment and monitor classroom attendance.
- Provide recommendations for curriculum design and assist in researching training topics to assist with curriculum development.
- Serve as internal/external consultant for the Adult Advocacy program area and assist with the Strategic Planning process for Adult Advocacy training for SD& T.
- Ensure that personal identifying information (Pl I) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. Protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment, and data.
- Perform other related duties assigned.
