Job Responsibilities
Assistant Director (Research & Planning Administrator), Minimum Salary : $54,165 per year, USC Aiken Institutional Effectiveness, Research, & Compliance
Under the general supervision of the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Compliance, provides data reporting and analysis of institutional data to support institutional decision-making. This position will work closely with IERCstaff as well as a variety of internal stakeholders, including the Office of Student Success, Office of Academic Advising, and Enrollment Management. Minimum requirements : Bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and / or experience. Preferred qualifications : Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred; familiarity with USC system databases is desirable. Experience with Decision Support and / or Business Intelligence software. Experience with predictive analytics.

Additional Comments
Ability to interpret data requests, analyze requirements, and write computer programs to access data management information reports. Proficiency in working with large databases on a PC using Cognos, SQL, or oracle environment to gather specific and accurate data. Must be proficient with MS Office including Excel.
