Learn more about why you should join our team at We are looking for teammates who are : Able to work under pressure using strong communication and analytical skillsEager to effectively meet the needs of customers, vendors, and management Ready to provide work on a schedule under minimal supervisionOrganized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently prioritizing tasksWhat you will do : As a Business Analyst you will work with the SCDOR Business Process and Automation (BPA) team and internal business users on activities that support the creation of internal documents and business automation.Primary job duties include : Creating written procedures and training manualsPerforming tests on SCDOR documents (forms, notices, correspondences, and reports) using Plain Language standards and application best practicesValidating that final output meets customer requirements, provides reliable information, and complies with SCDOR security and branding standardsDesigning SCDOR documents using agency approved software development toolsWorking with SharePoint lists and documentsHelping in the tracking of team activities and work metricsAnalyzing BPA processes and making process improvement recommendationsAssisting in the coordination of special projects Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification ORA bachelor's degree in a related areaAcademic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning. Preferred QualificationsThese qualifications are not required but are considered when setting a starting salary. High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Familiarity with Adobe products besides Acrobat Reader.
